A Valentine's gift that's actually about the two of you

The trouble with most Valentine's gifts is that anyone could have bought them for anyone. A Lumière card can only be about you. When they hold it to their phone, an envelope with their name appears, sealed with your initials. They open it, your song starts, and the page fills with your photos, your moments and words written only for them.

It works whether you've been together for three months or thirty years. A new relationship has its firsts: first date, first trip, first “I love you”. A long one has decades of them.

What to put on a Valentine's page

A love letter

If there's one day for a love letter, it's this one. You don't need to be a writer. Start with a memory (“Do you remember…”), say what you love about them in plain words, and end with a promise. The page reveals it gently, line by line.

Your favourite photos

Up to 20 photos in a swipeable gallery, each with an optional caption. Mix the beautiful ones with the funny ones; the real moments are the ones they'll love most.

The song that's yours

Paste a Spotify or YouTube link and it plays when they open the page. If you don't have “a song” yet, Valentine's Day is a good day to choose one.

How long you've been together

Add the date you got together and a live counter shows the years, months, days and seconds since. It keeps ticking, so it's just as sweet next February.

How it works

1. Order your card. Checkout is handled securely by Stripe, and shipping is free Australia-wide. You can send the card to yourself or straight to them.
2. Create your page. We email you a private link. Pick an occasion, then add your photos, videos, your song and a letter. Everything saves as you go.
3. Publish. Tap “Publish my page” when you're happy. We post your card within 2 business days after you publish your page. You can keep changing the page afterwards with the same link, and your page stays online for at least 5 years, with no subscription.
4. They tap the card. The page opens on their phone, no app needed. On iPhone they tap the notification that appears; most Android phones open it straight away, and the QR code on the back works on any phone.

Timing for 14 February

Each card is made in Melbourne and shipping is free Australia-wide. We post your card within 2 business days after you publish your page. Delivery usually takes 2–6 business days after posting (Australia Post standard letter). The post is busier in early February, so aim to publish your page by the start of the month. You can keep editing it right up to the 14th.

After Valentine's Day

Unlike flowers, the card keeps working. With your private link you can add photos from your Valentine's dinner, change the song or update the letter at any time. The card always opens the latest version, so it can become something you add to every year.
